Okkervil River's I Am Very Far and Man in Motion, the new album by Warren Haynes (who is now 51, not 50, and also plays in a band with one of my distant cousins), are both $3.99 downloads today at Amazon.com.and I read about half of the late Manning Marable's Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention before I had to return it to New York Public (a day late (I'm so ashamed); it's an awkward thing).
