"nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands"

yes, Hannah and Her Sisters is on Turner Classic now (that's an e.e. cummings line, btw).

which has nothing to do with my relative anguish right now (almost totally centered on tomorrow's 33 1/3 proposal deadline). plus Elvis is dead and I don't feel so good myself (yes, I'm under the weather).

but a nice weekend in Princeton, including one men's basketball win over Harvard (their first conference win of the year in double overtime) and one loss to Dartmouth (the Big Green's first victory in Jadwin Gym in nearly two decades), outside of a bout of Ivy League-quality projectile vomiting (a long story that you don't want to know).

last movie I ever saw: Krzysztof Kieslowski's Camera Buff
the one before that: Birdman of Alcatraz
last published piece: the Kip Winger interview for New Times Broward-Palm Beach (they've got plenty of Anna Nicole Smith coverage this week)

happy valentine's eve gift.
