but I thought they acquitted themselves quite admirably (certainly eons better than the Up With People halftime performance at Super Bowl XVI).

Yeah, Pete Townshend is still great----the whole band was great and Daltry belted admirably. But watching Pete gave me big joy. I think he actually improvised new guitar parts out there today. And he enjoyed himself. Thank you PT.
